Priyanka Chopra’s second Hollywood film selected for Sundance Film Festival!

After the failure of Priyanka’s first Hollywood film, ‘Baywatch’, many movie buffs thought she must restrict herself only to small screens. But our Desi Girl proved everyone wrong because her very next venture, ‘A Kid Like Jake’ is receiving acclaim even before its release as the film has just got selected for the Sundance Film Festival. PC herself confirmed the news and shared it on Twitter, captioning, “When I read the script of A Kid Like Jake, I knew immediately that this was a story I had to be a part of. A story that needed to be told and seen. And now it’s been selected for Sundance Film Festival!”

The 35-year-old actor expressed her excitement and said that she cannot wait for her fans to watch the film. She further tweeted, “Claire Danes, Jim Parsons, Octavia Spencer, Silas Howard, Amy Landecker, Ann Dowd Daniel Pearle, Todd Spiewak, Eric Norsoph, Paul Bernon, Rachel Song, thank you for being such an incredible team to work with.”

‘A Kid Like Jake’ is based on a play by Daniel Pearle, who is also the writer of the film. The film is directed by Silas Howard and it also features television’s highest paid actor, Jim Parsons. The movie is just making rounds of the film festival. It will release in January 2018.
