Rajkumar Hirani was busy with promotion of his ' Ferrari Ki Sawaari '. But he had to rush back when he heard the sad news of his father's demise. His father, Suresh Hirani has succumbed to prolonged illness. The last rites were conducted by Raju Hirani on Saturday in the presence of family and close friends from the industry.
Raju Hirani was not alone; friends such as Aamir, Vidhu Vinod Chopra , Abhinav Kashyap , Sharman Joshi , Shantanu Moitra and many more were there for his support. But it was Aamir Khan who had arrived first. Boman Irani , who is also a close friend of Raju Hirani tweeted his condolences, " Raju Hirani 's father passed away this morning. He was a great inspiration to Raju and also to all of us!"
