Randeep Hooda took Bharat Swachata initiative to a new level & cleaned beaches in Mumbai!

We often see our Bollywood stars making good use of their star-power for a good cause or to gather donation, but then there are few Bollywood stars who make change happen with their noble deeds and spread awareness for a cleaner city. As the auspicious festival of Ganeshotsav concluded in Mumbai megacity, and one of the common aftermaths of such events is messy public places, especially Mumbai beaches, which not only gets polluted by Ganpati statue’s immersions but also with citizens littering their trash on the beach, which can also pollute water. And apparently, Randeep Hooda along with a group of volunteers from NGO Afraz visited Juhu and Versova beach to make it clean and litter free again!

Each year, Mumbai faces similar problems during this time of the year, and usually, it takes months and months for the cleaning work to get done if we let the bureaucratic way to be in operation. Whereas, Afroz Shah’s NGO and their troop of volunteers help cleaning such massive amount of mess within few hours. The NGO has claimed to remove almost 80 tons of filth from the beach, which is commendable in itself.

Actor Randeep Hooda, who is also a resident of Versova region, is also an active member who frequently volunteer with Afroz Shah’s for the clean-up drive movement in the city and around. The Versova beach itself witnessed maximum idol immersions during Ganpati visrajan on September 5 and people hardly be careful while littering their mess on the beach. On the other, social media is praising such noble efforts made by Afroz Shah’s NGO and Randeep Hooda for taking such important task at hand and promote cleanliness in the surrounding.
