Reportedly, filmmaker Shailendra Singh had announced that he was keen on making a sequel to the movie and that he had finalized a new title even better than the first one. Talking about why he opted for a new title, Shailendra Singh said that while he was keen on taking the title Singh Is Kinng forward, he had to retitle the film to Sher Singh because filmmaker Vipul Shah was not ready to give up the title.
