Richa Chadda to play a key role in 'Sarbjit'

Bold and beautiful Richa Chadda will soon be seen in upcoming flick 'Main Aur Charles'. Going by the report, Richa Chadda has joined the cast of forthcoming film 'Sarbjit'. Richa will be playing a role in this directorial by Omung Kumar. Richa stated "Yes, they have approached me for a role and I will be doing it. However, at this point of time legalities and paper work is being done and I can't comment anything more." The actress added that "But yes, it's true I am offered the role to play Randeep's wife and I will sign on the dotted lines soon. It's an interesting role and can't wait to talk more on the same."

Richa Chadda will essay Randeep Hooda's wife in this film. It's a biopic that has its roots dipped in the life of an Indian farmer called Sarabjit Singh who breathed his last in a Pakistani jail. He was convicted to terrorism and spying in Pakistan. Sarabjit was sentenced to death. His inmates in prison attacked him and he died.

'Sarbjit' also features Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as Dalbir Kaur, Sarabjit's sister.
