Salman Khan funds kidney transplant operation of co-star's 34-year old brother
Salman Khan gave Rs 5 lakhs for co-star Santosh Shukla's 34-year old brother's kidney transplant operation.
We earlier reported about Salman Khan giving cheques of Rs 1 lakh to each and every team member of his film 'Jai Ho'. The superstar has done one more noble work for which he should be praised. Reportedly, Salman Khan has given Rs 5 lakh to co-star Santosh Shukla's 34-year old brother, Ashutosh for his kidney transplant operation that happened in last week in Delhi.
Salman's co-star Santosh expressed himself by saying that "Bhai got to know about my dilemma during the shoot from someone. He spoke to me and asked me to focus on my work. Without me requesting him, he offered to donate 5 lakhs for my brother's operation. He called up my mother to check on her. He also appreciated my bhabhi for her brave gesture of donating her kidney to her husband (my brother). The operation went well. Ashutosh has not been discharged as yet but after he gets better, I would want him to meet Salman bhai. We can't thank him enough,"
