The handsome hunk was shooting in Karjat for the film 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' as well as for the flick 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo'. He decided to take the entire unit of the film to village Hatluni and painted the houses and distributed sarees to women in the village.
It was a surprise visit and was announced after day's pack-up. The team included Kareena Kapoor, Himesh Reshammiya and Kabir Khan. Some professional painters in village helped the unit in painting and they painted the water tank, village library and houses in five hours. Even 30-member group assisted the film's unit in this. Salman played football with the village boys and distributed sarees to village women, reportedly.
After painting, the Hutluni village gained a new look as all the houses started shining in pink and blue colour, which are originally made of wood and mud. This new colourful look of the village made the team of the film absolutely happy.
