Salman Khan's Dabangg 3 to go on the floor in mid-2018?
Dabangg 3 is the third instalment of one of Salman Khan's biggest hits Dabangg.
Revealing some exclusive details about his forthcoming film, the much-awaited sequel to Dabangg, actor-filmmaker Arbaaz Khan said that he has almost finalized the script for Dabangg 3. He also added that the film might mount the shooting floor around mid-year. “We will start (shooting) sometime around mid-year. We have almost locked the script. We are currently working on the casting, location and music,” said Khan.
The third instalment of the popular film franchise is being directed by Prabhu Deva. Upon being asked the reason behind signing him, Arbaaz said, “He has been a film guy for the longest time. He understands the audience. There are a lot of suggestions that come from him. He is a confident director. He has watched both the films and is a fan. He understands the franchise too well by now”.
Khan also added that the feel and flavour of Dabangg 3 will remain intact, “Every brand promises something. We have to maintain that. We have to keep the flavours intact. I can’t serve the audience something which they are not expecting. I have to give them a Dabangg-ish scenario. It may be presented differently but it will have the same essence. We know what the areas are and we are working on them”.
Meanwhile, Salman Khan, whose character Chulbul Pandey is the main USP of the Dabangg film series, is currently busy with Race 3. After that, he will start work on Bharat.
