Seasoned actor Suresh Oberoi roped in to play Peshwa Bajirao II in Kangna Ranaut’s Manikarnika!
Seasoned actor Suresh Oberoi, father of Vivek Oberoi, has been cast to play Peshwa Bajirao II in Kangna Ranaut’s upcoming period drama Manikarnika.
Suresh Oberoi, the father of Vivek Oberoi, is one of the most talented actors in Bollywood, who has played many memorable characters on screen throughout the 80s and 90s. But we have not seen much of him in films in last few years. If you too missed him all these years, then we have an interesting piece of news for all you people. If latest reports are to be believed, the seasoned actor has signed Kangna Ranaut’s upcoming historical film Manikarnika!
Last seen in a Kannada film called Attahasa, Suresh Oberoi has appeared in over 250 films in different languages. In his next outing, he will be seen essaying the character of Peshwa Bajirao II. The role is going to be an integral part of the film. Suresh is really excited to play a King in the period drama. He is also happy that he is returning to films with an author-backed role.
Written by KV Vijayendra Prasad, Manikarnika will be directed by Krish who previously directed Gabbar Is Back featuring Akshay Kumar. Recently, well-known TV actress Ankita Lokhande also joined the cast of the big budget project.
