Shah Rukh Khan, Sachin Tendulkar to be a part of Global Citizen Movement
Shah Rukh Khan and Sachin Tendulkar become a part of Global Citizen Festival, which will take place in November.
The debut India edition of Global Citizen Festival will see participation of the Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan and the cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar. Apart from them, many personalities like Sakshi Malik, Vijender Singh, Sonakshi Sinha, Parineeti Chopra, Malaika Arora Khan and Ayushman Khurana will come together for this six-hours event.

Global Citizen Movement highlights eradicating extreme poverty, gender equality, quality of education, water, hygiene and sanitation. Jay Z, Coldplay, Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, A. R. Rahman, Katrina Kaif, Farhan Akhtar, Shraddha Kapoor, Aamir Khan, Arjun Kapoor, Dia Mirza, Ranveer Singh, Arijit Singh and Monali Thakur will headline the inaugural Global Citizen Festival.
Talking about this, Sachin Tendulkar stated "As a country, India is united with the world in fighting open defecation and improper sanitation. Our efforts in sanitation play an important role in maintaining a healthy lifestyle and also ensuring basic human dignity. I am pleased to lend my support to Global Citizen India in their efforts towards the sustainable development goals of water, sanitation and hygiene", as per the report.
Global Citizen Festival will take place on November 19. The event will have live musical performances by the celebs, short films by noted filmmakers and much more.
