Shah Rukh Khan to be awarded with 'Legion of France' honour

The superstar Shah Rukh Khan will be awarded with the prestigious 'Legion of France' honour by the foreign minister of France, Laurent Fabius.

For the highest distinction for his valuable contribution to cinema, the superstar Shah Rukh Khan will be awarded with the esteemed 'Legion of France' honour, reportedly. This award is regarded as the top-most honour among Military and Civilians.

The foreign minister of France, Laurent Fabius will be reportedly coming to India to honour Shah Rukh as 'Officier de la Legion d'Honneur' (Officer of the Legion of Honour). Laurent Fabius will first visit New Delhi to meet his Indian counterpart, Sushma Swaraj and after this meeting, he will be arriving in Mumbai to personally give the award to Shah Rukh Khan .

Prior to this, the other eminent personalities those were honoured by this prestigious award include Lata Mangeshkar , Amitabh Bachchan and Satyajit Ray for their respective contribution in their fields.
