Recently, Shah Rukh Khan pointed out that the Actresses in Bollywood have never got the share of what they deserved. Thus, generous SRK took the decision to have his heroines name appear before his name in his film's credits.

His former co-stars have congratulated the superstar on this decision. Deepika Padukone found it as a wonderful initiative, not to prove that women are more powerful but to create awareness that both men and women are equal in professions. SRK has always treated his co-stars as equal as she experienced it in ' Om Shanti Om ' and now in ' Chennai Express '. She thought this gesture of the actor to be an extension of his kind nature.

Anushka Sharma on the other hand felt it as a thoughtful gesture. But in her opinion, there should be no discrimination based on gender at all. It should be based on the popularity of the actor irrespective of male or female.
