Shraddha Kapoor to be trained in Deepika Padukone father's academy
Actress Shraddha Kapoor to seek training from Prakash Padukone’s Badminton academy in Mumbai.

Deepika Padukone gave a gist of her inherent Badminton skill in debut film Om Shanti Om. She was also the top contender for Sania Nehwal’s role in her biopic. However, now Shraddha Kapoor has been finalized to play the part. The reports claim her to be learning the game from Deepika’s father Prakash Padukone’s academy.
As per the sources, Shraddha has registered herself in Prakash Padukone’s Badminton academy in suburban Mumbai. She will be practicing the game daily till the biopic goes on the floor in next few months. With preparations in full swing, she also wishes to spend some time with Sania to understand her mannerism.
Shraddha was last seen playing basketball in Chetan Bhagat’s Half Girlfriend. She is said to be the quick learner, therefore a similar kind of adaptation is expected from her in Sania’s biopic.
Other than playing Olympian Sania onscreen, Shraddha will also be seen as mafia heiress Haseena Parkar in film Haseena: The Queen of Mumbai.
Sania Nehwal’s biopic will be written and directed by Amole Gupte . Even he has done extensive research on Sania’s life and has been there to watch few of her matches at the NSCI club.
