'Shuddh Desi Romance' to be screened at Toronto Film Festival
The upcoming romantic flick \'Shuddh Desi Romance\' and the film \'Lunchbox\' has been selected for the Toronto International Film Festival that will be held in September.

There is a real good news for Karan Johar , who will be presenting the film ' Lunchbox ' in India. The news is that ' Lunchbox ' has been picked up for The Toronto International Film Festival. The other latest news says that the upcoming romantic movie ' Shuddh Desi Romance ' featuring Sushant Singh Rajput , Parineeti Chopra and newcomer Vaani Kapoor , has also been qualified for screening at The Toronto International Film Festival.
The name of the movie was declared in the first list of films chosen for 38th edition of the film festival. Ritesh Batra , the director of the film ' Lunchbox ', expressed the joy saying that it is feeling really great. The film ' Lunchbox ' has been selected for the Gala screening, which would be held during the festival's first weekend, said Batra. He added that everyone in the team is much excited about this screening as this would be the North American premiere of the film. The cast members will most probably be traveling along with Batra, the director said.
The film ' Lunchbox ' features Irrfan Khan , Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Nimrat Kaur . The film was also selected for Cannes Film Festival this year. The Toronto International Film Festival will be held from September 5 to 15.
