Shweta Tripathi garnered so many accolades for her performance in Haraamkhor and the critically acclaimed film Masaan! And she is all geared up to impress the audience with her upcoming film Zoo, directed by Shlok Sharma and produced by Anurag Kashyap, which will be premiered at Busan International Film Festival! Meanwhile, Shweta also bagged a role in an entertaining web-series, titled Made In Heaven, which will be produced by Zoya Akhtar and will be streaming on Amazon Prime!

Speaking about her venture on the new platform other than films, Shweta says, “What attracted me to the project was the team. The length of the role doesn't worry me, the quality does. And here, I am in super safe hands. I've been with them for the past week and the cast and crew are simply fabulous! I'm happy to be doing the show.” And what sources told us, the Made In Heaven will be a 10 webisode series, revolves around the competition between two wedding firms and Shweta is more likely to play a role of would be bride from a small town in a webisode!

As far as updates on shooting schedules are concerned, the production team and crew is shooting in Delhi region. And about her film Zoo and her role in it, she’ll be playing a character of a young teenager by the name of Misha Mehta, who blames herself for an accident that happened a few years ago and she locks herself in her house to escape her emotional trauma while inclined to use drugs. Thought it is not yet announced whether Zoo will get a theatrical release or be featured on streaming platforms, BollywoodMDB will keep you posted on its update!
