Simran gets 10 cuts from the CBFC, here are the details!

Kangana Ranaut’s Simran gets as many as 10 cuts from the CBFC and has also been asked to tone down the sexual moaning sound as well as a slap sound.

Actress Kangana Ranaut is all over the place these days for her upcoming film Simran and also for all the controversies that she is surrounded with. The actress is facing a lot these days and it is hard to take all this at once for any individual but she is managing herself quite well. Her film Simran which is set to release tomorrow had gone through as many as 10 cuts from the Censor Board of Film Certification (CBFC), as per the latest report.

The word ‘bitch’ was cut out from six places as according to the CBFC it was derogatorily used against the women force. Also, the word ‘Bastard’ was beeped out. It is also revealed that the makers were requested to tone down the moaning sexual sounds made during a sexual scene as it looked a lot more provocative that it was. Also, a slap scene which was very violent was toned down. And, a particular reference to the Muslim community was also dropped, reports suggest.

Talking about Kangana Ranaut ’s character in the film, the actress essays a housekeeper with big dreams and ambition. She is a free-spirited girl and loves herself. The script is penned by Apurva Asrani and is produced by Bhushan Kumar and Shailesh Singh.

Directed by Hansal Mehta, Simran releases on September 15!
