Sonam Kapoor talks about her 'blink and miss' appearance in Coldplay's video!

Bollywood fashionista Sonam Kapoor , who is currently busy promoting her upcoming film ' Neerja ' has been in news lately for featuring in Coldplay's latest music video 'Hymn For The Weekend.' Although, there was a lot of buzz created around this news, many of Sonam's fans have been disappointed to see a very brief appearance of their favourite star in the video. Sonam's agent too is not pleased about the brevity of her appearance but, the 'Khoobsoorat' actress does not seem to care.

In a recent media interaction, the actress opened up about the whole scenario and defended it. Sonam said, "First of all, I am in a Chris Martin video and I am a huge fan of Coldplay. When I was in high school, I grew up (listening to) Oasis, Coldplay and U2. And if somebody told me at 16 that I was going to be in a video, I would go: 'shut up'." When asked about the brevity of her appearance, she stated that, "But I was like it's Coldplay, dude. I get VIP access to them forever."

The actress further added, "So on my birthday, I get to take all my friends for a concert. I get VIP access to their concerts forever and I am going to make them sing 'Yellow' to me. This is good. When I was in high school, I listened to 'Yellow' from Coldplay and 'Wonderwall' from Oasis and I used to cry and wondered if anyone would sing me these songs to me. And there I am, doing this video. Everybody is going on about these three shots alone." It seems like Ms Kapoor is not at all disheartened and is very proud to be a part of the music video that also features Beyonce.
