South Actress Priya Anand Roped in for Vashu Bhagnani's 'Rang Rez'

There have been a number of actresses who have come to the Hindi film industry from the South and have acquired good position in the so called Bollywood. Once again there has been a remarkable increase in south actresses being signed in for Hindi films.

Recently, we learnt that 22-year old South actress Tamannaah Bhatia is making her debut in the Hindi cinema with a Ajay Devgn movie. And just a few days later, the news of another South Indian actress Priya Anand has come, who has been signed in by Vashu Bhagnani for his film \'Rangrezz\' that stars his son Jackky Bhagnani.

Apart from \'Rangrezz\', Priya Anand will also be seen in \'English Vinglish\' starring Sridevi. Priya Anand is a Tamil-Telugu actress whose hit films are \'Vaamanan\' (Tamil) and \'Leader\' (Telugu). Rana Daggubati had made his debut with \'Leader\' and she had played his leading lady. Rana considers her very lucky for him and hence often recommends her to the filmmakers.

Sources reveal that Priya has been signed by Vashu Bhagnani for 3 films and that too on Rana Daggubati\'s recommendation.

\'Rangrezz\' is the Hindi remake of Tamil hit \'Naadodigal\' that was released in 2009. It is directed by Priyadarshan.
