The filmmaker Subhash Ghai 's Whistling Woods International Film and Media Arts Institute based in Mumbai was honoured in United Kingdom. As per the report, Meghna Ghai Puri, the President of Whistling Woods International Film and Media Arts Institute, was honoured by the Member of Parliament of United Kingdom, Bob Blackman for the valuable contribution of the institute into the Indian education system and for its global standard maintenance.
A consortium in UK constituted the award marking the institutes with global standards. Whistling Woods ranked among the top ten schools out of the 1200 institutes. It was also awarded for exporting education to Nigeria, UK and other nations, as per the report. Whistling Woods is also proud to have 20% off foreign national students in its campus today.
