The news of the remake of the cult classic ' Hero ' then starring Jackie Shroff and Meenakshi Sheshadri , directed by Subhash Ghai is zooming the Bolly lanes since long. The news birdies also chirped out that the "Dabangg" of Bollywood, Salman Khan to be the anchor holding upon the venture, as a producer.

Though this film got delayed a bit due to its lead, Sooraj Pancholi getting involved in a legal battle that had gossip mongers humming around. Now that the winds are blowing in the right direction for the star kid, the makers are back on track with the project. Eventually all going as per their accumulations, now there's a new entry to the crew coming all the way from the original classic.

The director Subhash Ghai of the original ' Hero ' has been roped in by Salman to be a part of the remake as well. But for a change, the ace director would not be handling the directorial command of the redo. Rather he would be playing the musical tones this time around. The original went on to become a classic through its strong narration, direction and performances, thus the music too played a key role in laddering up the venture to the heights it has achieved so far.

Ghai who is all famous for ghost-composing tracks of many of his films, this time around would be sitting firm on the composing chair. As we all are aware about Ghai's potential regards to direction and even the brilliance of his musical sense, it would be fun hearing a full fledged album of tracks composed by the ace himself.

The remake produced by Salman Khan would also be a launch pad for two star kids; Aditya Pancholi 's son Sooraj Pancholi and Suniel Shetty 's daughter Athiya Shetty which would be seen essaying the lead characters.
