Suniel Shetty to play a school principal in a children’s film!

Suniel Shetty made quite a comeback in A Gentleman, after a three-and-a-half year of hiatus and managed to impress critics and audience with his negative character in the film! While his upcoming war-drama, Paltan, which will be directed by JP Dutta, is still in the pre-production phase, the actor is currently busy shooting for a children’s film, where he will be playing the character of a school principal! He has not revealed the title of the film yet nor has he given any other info about the project!

While speaking to DNA, Suniel said, “I want to take up films that are interesting, up my alley, and also suit my age and now I’m doing a children’s film where I play a school principal, who is a mentor to many kids. It’s a beautiful film equipped with the creative team that has worked on Mary Kom and Neerja. Indeed it’s small, but an impactful film.”

Telling more about the film, his character and the basic idea about the film, Suniel revealed, “The character is that of an orphan boy, who is adopted. He goes on to become the principal of a high-end school. The movie basically says that if given an opportunity, everyone can make it. The education system is only about ‘X’ grades and the kind of students in school, but where do the rest go? But again, it’s not a preachy film. It talks about education, class differences, but in a very fun manner.”
