Bollywood actors often are seen associating themselves with various social causes and participate in social welfare programs. B-Town celebs are crowd pullers and they very well acknowledge and use their super power for good causes. Recently, Bollywood celebrities including Sunny Leone, Arshad Warsi, Arjun Rampal, Pooja Batra, Shaan and Manish Malhotra among others attended a tree plantation drive at the Mumbai's Joggers Park.
The tree plantation drive was organized by Asif Bhamlas, Bhamla Foundation and MCGM on 23rd May at Joggers Park. The initiative gave a message of clean and green environment that supports a better living. Mumbai being one of the most polluted cities in the country, initiatives like these aid in a big way to protect the earth.
The event was a precursor to the world Environment day which is held on 5th June. The Bhamla foundation pledges to plant over 1000 trees. The drive is designed for the awareness towards the green objective, waste management, conservation of trees and increase plantation thus help to make a green and greener Mumbai.
