BollywoodMDB has been updating our readers with all the latest updates regarding Sushant Singh Rajput and Sara Ali Khan ’s upcoming film Kedarnath . Finally, after much speculations, Saif Ali Khan’s daughter is making her big Bollywood debut with this film. The upcoming venture is being jointly produced by KriArj Entertainment and Balaji Motion Pictures. Director Abhishek Kapoor , who launched Sushant in films with Kai Po Che, is helming the project.
The filmmaker is excited about the project and he updated about the movie by tweeting a picture of both the leads who are busy in their reading sessions at his residence. Abhishek wrote: “#nicetomeetcha its real when actors begin readings and there's magic in the air #kedarnath #kriarj #balajitelefilms @GuyInTheSkyPics.” Check out the picture here:
In a media statement, Abhishek Kapoor spoke about the film details and said, “I don’t want to reveal too much at this point but our film is a passionate love story set on pilgrimage. I cast Sara in the film because she absolutely fits the part. Sushant, of course, I have worked with before, so I know that he is a sincere actor. I am also excited to work with Prernaa Arora and Arjun N Kapoor of KriArj Entertainment as they bring a unique balance of business acumen and creative insight to this project.”
Kedarnath is scheduled to release next year in June. The movie is in its early stages currently and, is expected to go on floors soon.
