Actress Taapsee Pannu and veteran star Amitabh Bachchan ’s film Pink directed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury has been receiving accolades worldwide. The movie with the powerful message was screened for the Rajasthan Police and later at the United Nations headquarters in New York, USA.
On Saturday, the cast was invited for a special screening of the film at the Rashtrapati Bhavan in Delhi for the President Pranab Mukherjee. The lead actress Taapsee, shared her experience to a leading daily.
Taapsee said, “We received a warm welcome. I t was like walking into the largest palace in the world. Soon after the screening got over, we were felicitated by the President. Later, he joined us for dinner too.”
Taapsee further said, “An overenthusiastic kid was jumping inside me thinking how unreal it is to have dinner sitting right next to the President. Even though he was sweet, warm and interactive, I was cautious that I shouldn’t violate any protocol.”
Taapsee spoke about how the President lauded the film. She added, “He said that he was impressed with the message we conveyed through the film and how we presented the issue.”
