Team Kedarnath wraps up Uttarakhand shooting schedule!

It is clear that Bollywood fans are eagerly waiting for Abhishek Kapoor’s upcoming romantic flick, Kedarnath, as we could see each and every update on this film trend on social media sites! Previously we revealed how Sara Ali Khan wrapped her first day at the shoot like a pro! And as per the latest update, the team has wrapped up shooting schedule in Uttarakhand and are heading back to the film city for the further development of the film, director Abhishek Kapoor posted an adorable selfie with lead actors, Sushant Singh Rajput and Sara Ali Khan! And the picture is just so cute!

Abhishek also posted this picture with the heartiest caption that says, “With a lot of hope and excitement we left Mumbai for Kedarnath not sure if what we would come back with would do justice to our vision. It was nothing short of an expedition given the terrain and weather we would face. Having wrapped and on our way back, thanks to a great crew, and supporting producers and I’m glad our smiles are still intact!” The film would be set around Kedarnath and will have traces of mega-flood that almost destroyed the holy city on 16 and 17 June 2013. And in the story, there will be an angle of an inter-religion love story where Sushant will be playing a character of a Muslim guy in the film who rescues Sara, playing a Hindu tourist, from the Uttarakhand floods, and how the two fall in love meanwhile.

The film Kedarnath will be produced by Balaji Motion Pictures, Guy in the Sky Pictures, KriArj Entertainment and T-Series. It is scheduled to be released on 3rd September 2018. Until the point of release, BollywoodMDB will keep you posted with every update on Kedarnath!
