The first song from Jab Harry Met Sejal, Radha, is here!

After enticing everyone with a sweet and quirky banter on Twitter, both Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma kept fans intrigued about their first song from the upcoming film, Jab Harry Met Sejal. And now they have released the Panjabi chart popping song Radha, and it seems to make to make everyone groove on the floor.

The song starts with an intense monolog between Shah Rukh and Anushka Sharma, where Shah Rukh gives a rational explanation on why Panjabi people sing in a loud tone. And then the song starts a beautiful alaap by Shahid Mallya in Sufi tone, rest of the song is complimented by Sunidhi Chauhan’s vocals, followed by all Panjabi lyrics penned by Irshad Kamil. Since Shah Rukh Khan will be playing the character of a Tourist in the beautiful location of Prague, Amsterdam, Lisbon, and Budapest, they’ll be seen in touring about the placed, while their friendship and chemistry be brewing along the way. And to end with Shah Rukh Khan being slight edgy yet flirting with Sejal!

Rest of the songs from the album will be released shortly, whereas film will be in the theater on 4th August. Jab Harry Met Sejal, will be a Desi Rom-com, directed by Imtiaz Ali and also includes the cast of Sayani Gupta, Evelyn Sharma, Aru Krishansh Verma, Chandan Roy Sanyal and also Paras Arora. Almost all songs will be composed by Pritam, who has the speciality in Panjabi music and also previously worked with Imtiaz Ali, so it would be interesting to see what flavor of Panjabi music will be served!
