The trailer of Majid Majidi’s ‘Beyond The Clouds’ is here and Ishaan Khatter deserves all the praises!

The much-awaited trailer of Majid Majidi’s ‘Beyond The Clouds’ is here and it shows why the filmmaker is an Academy Award nominee. In the lead, the film has Malayalam actress Malavika Mohanan and also marks the debut of Shahid Kapoor’s brother, Ishaan Khattar. The flick revolves around a pair of brother and sister who, in a bid to help each other, ends up in jail. Surrounded by despair, they find a new meaning of life from 'beyond the clouds'. The trailer shows more of a slum boy, who wants to make it large in the quickest time possible but ends up involving in unlawful acts. The cops trying to catch and whether he escapes freely or not forms the crux of the story.

The film’s music is composed by legendary, A.R. Rahman. The movie is made under the banner of Zee Studios. Majidi is an Iranian film director and for the first time, he has helmed a Hindi film. At the trailer launch, he said, “I feel it's risky for a foreign director to make a film. The point is that because of the similarities between the culture of Iran and India, I could do it." Talking about his idea to make a film whole and sole based in India, Majidi had earlier said, “I have always believed that India has so many stories to tell within its myriad cultures of people from a different milieu. The ambiance of India is just magical, truly incomparable to any other country. Within that ambiance, exists a wonderful relationship between human beings and nature.”

The film also stars Gautam Ghose, GV Sharada, Dhwani Rajesh, Amruta Santosh Thakur, Shivam Pujari and is slated to hit the screens on 23rd March 2018.
