These two Indian actors make it to the Variety’s 500 most influential people in entertainment!

After ruling their respective industries, Salman Khan and Priyanka Chopra have finally made it to the Variety’s 500 most influential people in entertainment shaping the global $2 trillion entertainment industry. Though these two are the only Indian actors on the list, they have accompanied by 10 other Indians in this prestigious list. A tweet from the official Twitter handle of Variety read, “Salman Khan is one of the unrelated Khan triumvirate comprising Aamir and Shah Rukh that has been ruling the Bollywood box office for decades.”

Priyanka’s profile in the Variety Magazine talks about her Miss World title, Bollywood debut and her American TV show, ‘Quantico’. It also mentions her work as the UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador for Child Rights and the Priyanka Chopra Foundation for Health and Education.

The list also includes Karan Johar, Aditya Chopra, producer Ekta Kapoor, the Ambani brothers, Sidharth Roy Kapur, Punit Goenka, Kishore Lulla, Uday Shankar and Subhash Chandra., making India the sixth biggest contributor in the list.

Well, it has been more than a decade seeing Salman and Priyanka in the same frame, so we feel if not on the big screens, let us appreciate the both this way.
