Official Statement: The makers of Tubelight taking efforts to release in Pakistan citing huge following of Salman Khan!

Salman Khan ’s fandom is universal and everyone is eager for the release of Tubelight , on 23rd June! While the whole world can righteously be excited to see Tubelight , Salman’s fan from Pakistan have to discard themselves from this excitement as not a single distributor from Pakistan came forward to buy prints of Tubelight , and this time Indo-Pakistan tension isn’t the reason for this.

As for any film distribution company, public holidays are golden opportunity to strike gold at the box office and obviously, even Pakistani films would also wish to make the most out of Eid holiday. Apparently, there are two major releases in Pakistan titled Yalghaar and Shor Sharaba, out of which Yalghaar is a big budget war action drama which would like to avoid competition with Tubelight since Salman’s fandom is still prominent in Pakistan region. The official statement by Amar  Butala, COO of Salman Khan Films and co-producer of Tubelight stated that they are taking efforts to release in Pakistan citing huge following of Salman Khan!

If the film does not release in the country then it will not only be sad for Pakistani Salman fans, commercially, it is not so good news for makers and distributor of Tubelight , since they’ll be losing major stake of the business. And the sad part, even if it released weeks after Pakistani films it can’t gain its earnings as Piracy is one of the big issues that can cause a huge setback to Tubelight ’s revenue collections. Only time will tell!

Tubelight will be released on 23rd June, directed by Kabir Khan and cast includes Salman Khan , Sohail Khan , Zhu Zhu, Matin Rey Tangu, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub and also late Om Puri.
