TV actress Amita Udgata of ‘Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi’ fame passes away!

Sad news for the entire entertainment fraternity! Television actress, Amita Udgata, who played dadi bua in Sony TV’s Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi, is no more with us. The veteran actress was in the hospital for four days and yesterday night, she took her last breaths. She was kept alive by life support and lung failure is reported as the primary reason of her death.

Her close friend and actress Abha Parmar told a leading portal, “We were more like sisters than friends. I am from Kanpur and she was from Lucknow. I wasn’t aware that her condition so serious. I was supposed to visit her today. She was a great actress and a friend and we have faced life’s struggles together.”

The actress has worked in many TV shows like Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi, Mann Kee Awaaz Pratigya, Maharana Pratap, Baba Aiso Varr Dhundo and Doli Armaanon Ki. And she appeared in movies like Hasee Toh Phasee, Sarbjit and Tera Mera Tedha Medha.

The late actress is survived by her two children, Ruchin Udgata and Rishab Udgata. Amita’s last rites will be performed on Thursday once her elder son arrives the family.
