US President Barack Obama quoted Actor Shah Rukh Khan's famous dialogue from 'DDLJ' during the address at Siri fort.
Actor Shah Rukh Khan is named the Baadshah of Bollywood and has received many awards, appreciations and recognition for his impeccable acting skills and other talents he possess. But when the President of US himself quotes a dialogue form his legendary film 'DDLJ', he owns the privilege to bubble with pride.
President Obama, at a session addressing the gathering during his visit to India quoted the very well known dialogue, " Senorita... Bade Bade Deshon me...line from 'Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge'. The audiences rose to cheers and claps after this unexpected address.
The Actor Shah Rukh Khan expressed his joy through his micro blogging page and tweeted, "Proud 2 b part of the gender & religion equality speech of Pres, Obama. Sad he couldn't do the Bhangra... next time 'ChaiyyaChaiyya' for sure." [sic]. There were many more tweets regarding this and the phrase SRK Pride of India started trending on twitter.
