Vicky Kaushal roped in for Uri, film based on the surgical strikes!

Actor Vicky Kaushal has been in news lately for his collaboration for Alia Bhatt for the upcoming film Raazi directed by Meghna Gulzar. Now, the latest update claims that the talented actor Vicky Kaushal has been roped in to play the lead role in Ronnie Screwala ’s Uri which based on the Uri attacks, surgical strides. The film Uri narrates the bravery tale of our Indian AArmy who successfully conducted the surgical strikes across the (LoC) in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).
Vicky plays the role of the commander in chief who led the powerful operation. This marks the second collaboration their second collaboration, the first one is titled Love Per Square Foot. Vicky plays an army officer in Raazi as well, but in that film, he essays a Pakistani officer and Alia plays his wife who is a Kashmiri Spy.
In a media interaction with Mumbai Mirror, Vicky said, It is a story everyone should know as its Indian Army’s best operation constructed with valour and efficiency. It’s a great opportunity and a great responsibility for all of us.”
“Really excited to get into this because I think this might just be one of the most toughest parts that I have played till date, both physically and emotionally,” he added.
Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film will go on floors next year after Kaushal wraps up Raazi , states the reports. It is in its early stages where the rest of the cast is yet to be finalized.
