Vidya Balan learns horse-riding; takes voice training lessons for Begum Jaan

The talented Vidya Balan leaves no stone unturned to make her mark in all of her movies. She has wooed the audience with her stellar act in the films and now, the actress is going to do something different in her next. Vidya Balan will be taking horse-riding and voice training lessons for her role in her forthcoming film Begum Jaan.

Begum Jaan is the Hindi adaptation of the Bengali movie Rajkahini by the National Award winning filmmaker Srijit Mukherji. The film will start rolling in Jharkhand from June 18. Vidya portrays a madam of a brothel in this flick. The beauty will be taking voice training as modulating voice is necessary for her character in the film.

Vidya's character smokes hookah in the movie and the voice gets grainy due to this. She takes workshops in order to recognize the right texture of her character's voice. She will speak various languages and her character has her roots dipped in Punjab.
