Vidya Balan turns detective with 'Bobby Jasoos'

The out and out unconventional powerhouse, the starlet Vidya Balan is one among the list of actresses present in our industry to pull of a film wagon all by herself. With her previous releases like ' The Dirty Picture ' and ' Kahaani ' proved an example about her potentials to lead a film to the heights of success with or without an actor to support her on the forefront.

So what so appreciating the beauty and getting well aware about her potentials, the industry insiders are stating her to be the horse that is destined to win, whatever the situation is. Proving the assumptions right there's one starlet from B-Town who's investing her best on Balan. Yes! You heard it right, an actress is betting on Vidya, who is a part her upcoming production venture 'Bobby Jasoos'. Actress Dia Mirza along with her beau-cum-business partner Sahil Sangha is all set to produce a film under their banner ' Born Free Entertainment ' that will be portraying Vidya in yet another unconventional character of a female detective, first among its kind.

On confirming the above, the lead protagonist Vidya Balan reportedly stated that she has known the couple Sahil and Dia for long and the idea of playing a female detective was simply irresistible. Adding on further Balan quoted that apart from the above, Sanyuktha Chawla Shaikh 's script and Samar Shaikh's direction is the actual thing for what she's waiting for, as per the sources.

Similar to the lead the producers Sahil and Dia too confirmed the fact and stated that Vidya was an obvious choice for the character. The character's inquisitive, intelligent and out-of-the-box thinking just syncs well with Vidya's personality, which also zeroes her down to play the lead, as per the sources.

Not disclosing much about the venture, the producer Sahil Sangha merely declared that 'Bobby Jasoos' is their inaugural from the rest three scripts they are planning to take it to the floors soon. As considered about the Vidya starrer, it is supposed to be hitting the floors by the mid of November this year's, to target its release around summer 2014, as per the sources.
