After the success of ' Krrish ' Starring Hrithik Roshan , Priyanka Chopra and Naseeruddin Shah , the director Rakesh Roshan had planned for its sequel. And he had written the script for the sequel right in the year 2007. But since the storyline turned out to be significantly similar to the Hollywood blockbuster Spider-Man 3, he had to re-work on the script.

As usual, Hrithik Roshan is playing the protagonist and after the failure of the talks with Ajay Devgn and Shah Rukh Khan , finally Vivek Oberoi was signed in for the antagonist. Rakesh Roshan believes that the antagonist should be as powerful as the protagonist. Hence, he was looking for a star, who could look powerful in front of the protagonist Hrithik Roshan . The audiences have already seen the well-built muscles of Hrithik Roshan in ' Krrish '.

Rakesh Roshan has confirmed the inclusion of Vivek Oberoi in his franchise by saying, "He (Vivek) is definitely part of the franchise now. We have left no stone unturned to ensure that the combat between the protagonist and the antagonist looks like a battle between equals. There is no point in introducing an antagonist and leaving the character half-finished."

Well, we hope that both Hrithik and Vivek look equally powerful on the screen. In the remake of ' Agneepath ', Sanjay Dutt had looked much more powerful and stronger than Hrithik on the screen.

It seems as if Rakesh Roshan is quite impressed by the actor Vivek Oberoi . Therefore, the Roshans have reportedly decided to include him in future films in the franchise also. In ' Company ', Vivek Oberoi had played the role of Chandu Nagre, a gritty gangster.
