Mani Ratnam is all set to bring a multi-starrer film!
The story is said to be revolving around a political family of four brothers and a powerful girl against them.
Mani Ratnam is undoubtedly one of the finest directors working in Indian film industry. He has been making films for around 35 years now and has always brought the controversial topics to the front. Mani, who last helmed Kaatru Veliyidai, a romantic saga starring Aditi Rao Hydari, will now helm a political drama, titled, Chekka Chivantha Vaanam. The story is said to be revolving around a political family of four brothers and a powerful going girl, fighting against the nuclear plant issue in Tamil Nadu.
The movie is a multi-starrer and has recently gone on floors with Simbhu, Vijay Sethupathi, Arun Vijay, Prakash Raj, Aravind Swamy, Jyothika, and Aditi Rao Hydari playing the lead roles.
Aravind Swamy and Prakash Raj are said to be waging war against each other in an interesting way and what characters the star cast will portray are still awaited.
The film’s music has been composed by Ratnam’s favourite, A.R. Rahman and it is jointly produced by Lyca Productions and Ratnam’s Madras Talkies. For the Telugu remake, the film will be called Nawab and will hit the screens in later 2018.
