KGF Chapter 2: Yash's blockbuster earns Rs 880 crore worldwide

KGF Chapter 2 starring Kannada superstar Yash continues its phenomenal run at the box office. On day 11 of its release, the film has collected Rs 880 crore worldwide and is still going strong at the box office.
The action drama is especially doing well in metro circuits in India and has become the world's fifth highest grossing film last weekend.
Taking to Twitter, trade analyst Ramesh Bala also confirmed that KGF Chapter 2 has collected Rs 880 crore at the box office. Even after 11 days of release, KGF Chapter 2 has maintained its tight grip at the box office. On the other hand, newer release like Shahid Kapoor’s sports drama Jersey (2022) has failed to create any wave at the box office.
The Hindi version of KGF 2 also minted Rs 22-23 crore in earnings on Sunday, as per a report on BoxOfficeIndia.com. The film has now grossed Rs 314 crore till date (Hindi version) and its craze in the northern belt doesn't seem to be dying anytime soon.
Directed by Prashanth Neel, KGF: Chapter 2 traces the life of Rocky after he captures the Kolar Gold Fields. The action drama is produced by Vijay Kiragandur under Hombale Films and features Yash, Srinidhi Shetty, Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon and Malavika Avinash in pivotal roles.
