Bollywood actor Farhan Akhtar made his first public appearance after marrying television personality Shibani Dandekar. The newlyweds looked like a dream in colour coordinated outfits as they stepped out to greet the paparazzi and distribute sweets to them. The pair, who got hitched on Saturday, officially registered their marriage today in Mumbai.
The Rock On (2008) actor donned a stunning pastel pink kurta underneath a pale golden over coat whereas Shibani wore a matching pastel pink banarasi saree paired with embroidered blouse. She teamed her outfit with enticing heavy diamond jewellery. She opted for a peachy makeup look and had her hair pulled back in a neat updo. The duo looked their ethnic best as they posed at the camera for a picture.
Farhan married Shibani in Khandala on Saturday in a modest wedding attended by family and close friends. After more than four years of dating, the couple finally got hitched.
Following the photocall, the couple was spotted handing out sweets to all the photographers present.
Akhtar and Dandekar's industry pals, including actors Hrithik Roshan, Saqib Saleem, Rhea Chakraborty, filmmaker Farah Khan, Farhan's sister Zoya Akhtar, and music composers Shankar Mahadevan, Ehsaan Noorani, and Loy Mendonsa, were among those who attended the wedding.
This is Farhan's second marriage. The actor- director was previously married to hairstylist Adhuna Bhabani. His ex wife and two kids Shakya Akhtar and Akira Akhtar were also present at his wedding.
