After his father Mammootty, Dulquer Salmaan also tests positive for COVID-19
Before Dulquer Salmaan, his superstar father Mammootty had also tested positive for COVID-19.
Malayalam superstar Dulquer Salmaan on Thursday announced that he has tested positive for coronavirus. His diagnosis comes days after his father, superstar Mammootty also contracted the virus.
Taking to social media, Salmaan said, “I have just tested positive for COVID-19. I am isolating at home and have mild flu symptoms but am otherwise ok (sic).”
He further added, “This pandemic is not over and we must stay vigilant. Please mask up and stay safe.”

On the work front, Dulquer Salmaan was last seen in Kurup (2021). Apart from playing the lead role, the actor also produced the film under his banner Dream Warrior Pictures.
He has several interesting projects in the pipeline, including a Tamil film Hey Sinamika, a Malayalam film Salute, and an untitled Telugu film by filmmaker Hanu Raghavapudi.
