Ajith Kumar’s BLOCKBUSTER film ‘THUNIVU’ is set to STREAM on Netflix from THIS date; Read to know!

This year's Sankranthi saw the deadliest release clash at the theatres in Kollywood between Ajith Kumar's Thunivu and Varisu, starring Thalapathy Vijay. Both movies had excellent box office results and favourable audience reactions. Thunivu is now about to debut on the OTT platform after successfully running in movie theatres. Thunivu, the most recent crime thriller starring Ajith Kumar, will be available on Netflix starting on February 8. Viewers can watch in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi.

Netflix announces Thunivu’s arrival on their platform

The biggest streaming platform, Netflix (India) announced this news on their Instagram handle by writing, “It is time for the explosions to begin because Ajith Kumar is finally here! Thunivu is coming to Netflix on Feb 8th in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi and we cannot stay CHILLA CHILLA! #ThunivuOnNetflix” Thunivu became one of Ajith's most successful films and earned over Rs 100 crore at the box office.

About Thunivu

Following Nerkonda Paarvai and Valimai, Thunivu marks Ajith's third collaboration with director H Vinoth and producer Boney Kapoor. The film is a heist thriller that chronicles a police chase after a bunch of bank robbers. Manju Warrier is Ajith Kumar's accomplice in crime, while he his portrayed as the leader of the robbers' group. Samuthirakani also performs DGP Dayalan in Thunivu. Veera, John Kokken, Ajay, and Cibi Chandran are also included in the cast of the movie in supporting roles.
