Ajith Kumar’s Valimai locks new release date
In addition to Ajith Kumar, Valimai also stars Huma Qureshi and Kartikeya Gummakonda in important roles.

Ajith Kumar is one of the most popular actors working in Tamil cinema. His fans are crazy after him, something that the box-office collection of his films clearly shows.
The superstar will next be seen in the much-awaited action thriller Valimai. Earlier scheduled to release on January 13, 2022, the film will now open in cinemas on February 24, a month after it was postponed indefinitely due to the increasing number of COVID-19 cases, fuelled by the Omicron variant.
The Tamil film is backed by producer Boney Kapoor. In addition to Ajith Kumar, the film also stars Huma Qureshi and Kartikeya Gummakonda in important roles.
Sharing her experience of working with Ajith, Qureshi said that it was a treat to work with Ajith. She called Valimai a very different kind of a film in which she will be seen doing some action, which she is extremely excited about.
Kapoor took to Twitter on Wednesday to announce the new date of the actioner, which will also be released in Hindi, Telugu and Kannada.

Valimai is written and directed by H Vinoth and produced by ZEE Studios and Kapoor under Bayview Projects LLP.
According to the makers, the film chronicles the story of Arjun (Kumar), a police officer, who is assigned to track down a group of violent bikers following their involvement in heinous crimes.
