Dhanush’s Naane Varuven to face a box office clash with Vikram starrer Ponniyin Selvan?

Dhanush is one of the most popular actors in South industry as well as Bollywood. Despite only being in a handful of Bollywood films, he managed to wow the audience with his craft. The actor, whose career spans two decades and contains multiple hits, is currently making his international debut in The Gray Man, a film by the Russo Brothers that also stars Chris Evans, Ryan Gosling, and Ana De Armas.

Meanwhile, his film, Naane Varuven, directed by Selvaragahvan, is currently in post-production and is anticipated to hit theatres on September 30. According to reports, Mani Ratnam's colossal project Ponniyin Selvan 1 and Dhanush and Selvaraghavan's film are likely to clash at the box office. The release date for Naane Varuven has not, however, been officially announced by the film's producers.

Naane Varuven is slated to launch its trailer on July 28, Dhanush's birthday, according to media reports. The audio release of Thiruchitrambalam is also anticipated to take place on July 28.

Meanwhile, The Gray Man, Dhanush's first Hollywood film, will be released on Netflix on July 22. The film is being directed by the Russo Brothers of Avengers fame. For the purposes of promoting the film, which is also being released in Indian languages, the Russo Brothers will pay a visit to Dhanush in India.
