Dhanush starrer Sir launched today; regular filming to begin from Jan 5
After the recent Bollywood blockbuster Atrangi Re (2021), Dhanush has now launched his next Telugu film Sir, co-starring Samyutha Menon.
Sithara Entertainment shared a tweet today with photos of a pooja ceremony from the launch of the forthcoming Telugu film Sir. “An auspicious start to the ambitious journey of a common man Vaathi. Sir took off today with a pooja. regular shoot from 5th Jan,” read the tweet.
In the photos, Dhanush, who plays the male lead, is seen in a formal look while female lead Samyutha opted for a traditional look. While Dhanush is already a star in Tollywood, Sir marks Samyutha’s second Telugu film after the upcoming Bheemla Nayak (2022).
With this film announcement, Dhanush has added one more exciting project to his line-up. He is already occupied with such projects as The Grey Man, Maaran, Naane Varuven, Vaathi, and Thiruchitrambalam.
Sir will commence its regular shoot from the 5th of January. The film will be directed by Venky Kudumula and produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Ms. Sai Soujanya under Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas.
