Dulquer Salmaan reveals his ambitions to collaborate with dad Mammootty
Dulquer Salmaan stated that he has asked his father Mammootty to feature in a film with him and is awaiting his response.
Malayalam superstar Dulquer Salmaan is undoubtedly one of the young and most talented actors. He hasn't even used the label of "star kid" to his benefit; instead, he has gained a lot of audience acclaim for his acting skills solely. The actor revealed during a press conference held in Chennai that he intends to collaborate with his father Mammootty in the future while currently on a promotional blitz for his Telugu romantic drama Sita Ramam.
On Tuesday, Salmaan met with the media in Chennai and spoke candidly about the film. When asked if he will collaborate on a movie with his father, the Hey Sinamika (2022) actor replied, “Dad has to take a call on whether the two of us should do a film together. I'm always ready for a film with him; whichever language it is in. I've already asked him too and I'm just waiting for his decision.”
At the event, the film's Tamil trailer was unveiled. In the Hanu Raghavapudi-directed film Sita Ramam, Salmaan plays a lieutenant officer in the Indian army. Kashmir in the 1960s serves as the backdrop for the narrative. The film, which was originally produced in Telugu, will also be released in Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada. Rashmika Mandanna and Sumanth also have significant roles in the film, which also serves as Mrunal Thakur's Telugu film debut.
