Has Jr. NTR & Koratala Siva's 'NTR 30' renamed to 'Devara'?

Jr. NTR won a lot of appreciation from fans across the globe for his portrayal of Komaram Bheem in SS Rajamouli's magnum opus 'RRR'. The blockbuster released in Japan on October 28 and created quite a frenzy there- becoming the highest grossing international film in the nation.

The starcast of the film was also involved in extensive promotions of the film in Japan and all the hard work finally paid off.

After 'RRR', all eyes are on Jr. NTR's upcoming film with Koratala Siva, which was tentatively titled 'NTR 30'. However, from what we hear now, the film has been rechristened to 'Devara'.

No, the film has not been shelved!

For quite some time now, there have been rumours that the project has been shelved. This was after Koratala Siva's last release Acharya starring Ram Charan and Chiranjeevi bombed at the box office.

The filmmaker had to face a lot of financial losses and had apparently decided not to go ahead with the Jr. NTR project. Further, the script was unfinished, which was again an issue. Nevertheless, it seems the project is very much on roll now.

As per rumours, Keerthy Suresh has turned down the film

While the and cast and crew of the the film is yet to be finalized, it has come to light that Keerthy Suresh has refused to do the project. From what we know, NTR Arts and Yuvasudha Arts are jointly producing 'NTR 30' whereas Anirudh will take care of the music.

Besides this movie with Koratala Siva, Jr. NTR has committed to star in a sports drama to be helmed by Buchi Babu. He will also be seen in a film to be directed by Prashanth Neel of 'KGF' fame.
