Is Samantha away from the sets of Kushi due to ill-health?

Filmmaker Shiva Nirvana's upcoming Telugu film Kushi is one of the most awaited flicks this year. Starring Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha in lead roles, the romantic comedy is scheduled to release in cinemas on 23 December 2022 during Christmas.

However, a few days back, it was reported that Samantha has not been filming for her part in the project. Her absence from the film sets gave rise to speculations that she is not well and has been keeping away from work to recuperate physically.

However, sources close to the actress have clarified that Samantha is absolutely fine and that she would resume filming for Kushi very soon. Notably, while Vijay has completed shooting for his schedule, Samantha's portions are yet to be shot.

Now coming to Kushi, the film also features Jayaram, Murali Sharma, Rahul Ramakrishna, Srikanth Iyengar, Ali, Lakshmi, Vennela Kishore and others in supporting roles.

Shot extensively in the picturesque valley of Kashmir, Kushi is scheduled to release theatrically on 23 December 2022 in Telugu along with dubbed versions in Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam languages.
