Krishna Garu’s last rites were performed by his inconsolable son Mahesh Babu at Mahaprashtanam

At the age of 79, Tollywood superstar Krishna passed away. At a private hospital in Hyderabad, the renowned actor who was also Mahesh Babu's father passed away after experiencing cardiac arrest. The five children Krishna had after him are Mahesh Babu, Naresh Babu, Padmavathi, Manjula, and Priyadarshini. The death of his father, the legendary actor Krishna, who occurred on November 15, has left Mahesh Babu inconsolable. Even the fans are devasted by this news. The actor conducted his father's final rites in the customary lungi today. As he said goodbye to his father, the actor was teary-eyed.

Mahesh Babu steps out for father’s final rites

Many actors paid their final respects to the celebrity at Nanakramguda yesterday while his mortal remains were preserved at his home. Many of his followers, politicians, and celebrities shed tears after paying their respects when the lifeless remains were taken this morning to Padmalaya Studios. Mahesh Babu conducted the last rites while sobbing as the superstar's final procession began at 3 PM. He lost his mother Indira Devi and father Krishna in the space of two months. This year has been the most difficult and heart-breaking year for the actor.

Mahesh Babu and Krishna’s bond

As his father Krishna was his greatest source of motivation for being an actor, Mahesh Babu was very close to him. The actor frequently honoured his father with giving him his life and also regarded him as a god. As a young actor, he appeared alongside his father in approximately 25 films, including Needa, Anna Thammudu, Gudachari 117, and Poratam. Numerous celebrities from the business, including Mohan Babu, Allu Arjun, Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna, Prabhas, and others paid respect to the late idol. On Wednesday, the grandchildren of Mahesh Babu, Gautham and Sitara Ghattamaneni, paid their final respects to their grandfather Krishna.
