Mammootty, the famous megastar of the Malayalam cinema industry, is currently on a signing binge and has a number of quite intriguing projects in the works. A mix of well-known and up-and-coming directors are featured on the seasoned actor's list of upcoming movies. With the announcement of another movie, the superstar seemed to have left his fans wondering once more. The actor will be starring in the Roby Raj Varghese-directed action comedy with an unnamed title.

In addition to sharing a poster with the crew's names, the star's and his production company's official social media accounts used the site to promote the announcement. However, additional information about the casting is kept under wraps. Young cinematographer Roby Raj Varghese, who is most recognized for his outstanding body of work in Malayalam cinema, will make his directorial debut with the untitled film.

Mammootty is anticipated to play an investigative officer in an original character in the murder mystery movie. His well-known performance as Sethurama Iyer from the CID series seems to be reflected in the plot. In addition, it has been reported that a significant section of the film will be shot in Kerala, with the remainder taking place in North India. The movie is rumoured to begin production on January 1. The eagerly anticipated film will be released by Wayfarer Films, the production company run by Mammootty's son and well-known actor Dulquer Salmaan.
