Rajinikanth becomes the highest taxpayer in Tamil Nadu, daughter Aishwarya is extremely proud of her 'appa'

The Tamil Nadu state's most high-profile taxpayer is superstar Rajinikanth. Thamizhisai Soundarajan, the governor of Puducherry, organised a ceremony to honour Income Tax Day, where Rajinikanth received top honours. Aishwarya Rajinikanth, daughter of the Petta (2019) actor, accepted the award on his behalf.

Aishwarya Rajinikanth, uploaded some photos from the ceremony to Instagram. She wrote the caption, "Proud daughter of a high and prompt tax payer Many thanks to the #incometaxdepartment of Tamilnadu and Puducherry for honouring appa on #incometaxday2022 #onbehalfofmyfather."

On the professional front, Rajinikanth will star in Nelson Dilipkumar's film Jailer. Shivrajkumar, a prominent Kannada actor, will apparently play a significant role in this hotly contested drama. Jailer is anticipated to hit the floors soon. In the interim, the test shot for the movie was recently wrapped up, and online sneak peeks from it have become viral on social media.

Priyanka Mohan, Sivakarthikeyan, and Ramya Krishnan will reportedly play supporting roles in Jailer. According to additional reports, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is being considered to portray Rajinikanth's female lead opposite her. In the 2010 film Robot, the duo already appeared together on screen.
