Ram Pothineni to make his Bollywood debut with director Boyapati’s next

Energetic star Ram Pothineni made his Kollywood debut in The Warrior (2022), a gritty cop action movie directed by N Lingusamy. The movie, which was bilingually produced, opened to great anticipation. On the day of its theatrical debut, The Warrior received an enthusiastic audience response. As per reports, the Hyper (2016) actor is reportedly in talks for a Bollywood debut in director Boyapati’s next.

Hinting at his Hindi film debut, Ram said to a news portal, “I have a lot of fans commenting on my social media pages, inviting me to events happening in Nepal or Bangladesh, asking me when they will get to see me in a straight Hindi film. Now, I’m pretty excited to say that it’s going to happen soon.”

Ram is prepared to begin filming for his first pan-Indian project under Boyapati Srinu's direction. He added, “I believe, given the kind of response I get from other countries and states, there’s a market there for me. It’s probably the right time for me to finally be debuting in Hindi.”

“While I can’t reveal much about the project, I can ask the audience to expect the unexpected. When Boyapati garu narrated the script to me, I was bowled over. Both look and character-wise, this film will be uncharted territory for me,” concluded Pothineni.
